I’d use the brush guard for city parking

Everyone is missing the obvious point. The driver’s seat cushion is soaked in a concoction of human odors that even the devil himself couldn’t imagine. No need for deep whistles to repel wildlife, if she has the windows down (and let’s hope she does) animals clear a wide path as the odor precedes the car by miles. 

I’m not a physicist, but I can assure you that “brush guard” is effective on tumbleweeds and not much more. In fact, hitting anything more susstantial than a jackalope would result in more damage that without it fitted.

It kind of looks like one of those old timey Car Guard bumper protectors they had in the ‘40s and ‘50s. I actually didn’t realize they still made that sort of thing for passenger cars.

It’s like it went to the orthodontist and got headgear.

I saw that brush guard and automatically assumed she was Australian.

It looks like hitting a rabbit could break it, and it offers protection for approximately zero frontal area. I don’t get it. It’s like a front curb feeler or something.

Judging by the army of “deer whistles” she has on the hood and being in Kansas, I’m guessing she has had quite a few run-ins with rodents. Growing up in Indiana I know a raccoon can rip the front bumper off a Golf at highway speed. I briefly considered the same brush guard (and making a safari GTI), but I knew I was…
