Chris, loved you as a player but honestly a half-assed attempt is all he deserves.  He was absolute shit his last year and a half and now he’s 32(?) and is likely worse.  He MAY be a starter for like 2 teams, he’s a backup everywhere else.  

As someone who is working and still looking I agree, there’s no transparency when looking for jobs and it sucks.  I’ve found using independent recruiters helps a lot - they get decent feedback.

Wait - why would the pay on the offer be anything other than what you agreed to verbally or in writing before getting an offer?  I’ve NEVER gotten an offer without already having discussed pay previously.  

I don’t have kids and never will (hopefully) but I’d kick em out in a heartbeat.  My house, my rules.  For anything harder than weed at least.

But I don’t think it’s as obvious.  I know my wife, who knows nothing about cars, could tell me which is which in the Toyota lineup but couldn’t tell me if the Fiesta or Focus was smaller.  And I think its the same for more laypeople.

More airports/cities need to do like PDX/Portland.  They only allow local brick and mortar businesses to open in the airport and they are prevented from charging any more than they do in their outside airport locations.  Plus that carpet!

Exactly!  But they already did the work they needed to do and aren’t needed anymore.  We got the 8-5 and weekends and all that stuff.  What more is needed?  

Anecdotal. Unions already made the changes needed for the normal worker and are no longer necessary.

Not enough differentiation in those models to really make a difference between micro/compact and mid/full size.  Toyota has it down.  Yaris, Corolla, Camry, Avalon.  You instantly know which is what and there’s a very clear line between them.
