Am I the only one who thinks these photos are boring and uninspired? Aside from having blonde hair, she doesn't really resemble any of these women, and "innocence" "sensuality" "elegance" themes aren't helping.

@ihateyourescalade: I read the linked nyt article and I'm with you. The whole thing was about how she might be distantly related to various notable characters, but I saw nothing indicating that she was even remotely interesting. The book sounds really, really boring.

I've always been a little bit bothered by the fact that black and white dolls have the exact same features. It reminds me a bit of those movies back in the day where the "minorities" were just white people painted brown. Why not give the dolls different shaped noses, or different hair textures?

@picardia: Me too! It's just like when someone tells you a joke so bad they have to explain it.

I'm clearly in the minority here, but I saw Heathers, and I just don't "get it." Beyond the fact that it is very clearly satire, can someone explain it? Maybe it's because I saw it in college after all my friends had been hyping it? I thought it was hilarious towards the beginning, but beyond that, I didn't enjoy

I can only think of one reason people are writing about Ann Coulter again. We have magically travelled back to 2002 (or earlier), and she is "relevant" again. I, for one, welcome this opportunity. I am changing my major, dumping my (now ex) loser boyfriend, and rethinking that GAP "crazy stripes" sweater (does
