I've always considered Lifehacker to be the more intelligent crowd among the Gawker sites and I really think a poll like this shows it. On paper, Android just blows the iPhone away in terms of openness, functionality, and hardware. It's nice to see a poll reflect that and not an allegiance to a fruit.
