We just moved to a new apartment that includes cable and wifi in the lease. We set up our TV (Vizio smart TV) and discovered that when the TV is on, the landlord’s wifi-connected devices stop playing nice. It doesn’t matter if the TV is actually using data or not - even if it’s just showing cable, his smart TV and his

I didn’t start reading DP until after Danny took over and whenever I start following links through the archive and accidentally end up on an Emily Yoffe it’s likr whiplash, 75% of her advice is troublingly awful and misguided. It makes me sad for the folks who asked the questions.

I’m just so impressed that you complain about paragraph-long run-on sentences in a paragraph-long run-on sentence.

You should send this in to Reply All, it sounds like their kind of conundrum and I’m also wildly curious, this could be a huge scam!

The day we moved into our new apartment our landlord had family over for a bbq, and when we were saying hi to everyone there was a rather dramatic grease fire on one of the gas bbqs. Yesterday he shared that it was from all the grease that came out of the impossible burgers they made for vegetarian relatives. Not a

For real! And where’s the line in this line of thinking? I can’t expect that someone invited in to my house won’t take my things because they could, in theory, do it, and that’s justification enough? They also could, in theory, find my baking twine and tie me up then use my big kitchen knife to cut all my limbs off.

There are always public libraries too. Many even have cafes now.

It’s not far from what she’s saying about it being for drinkers with a philosophical aversion to fussy cocktails though. Bud light is to “good” beer as White Claw is to hip cocktails. It’s the same phenomenon for a snootier group of people, which is hilarious and impressive from a marketing standpoint.

I don’t ask for what Lifehacker’s inexplicable algorithms include in the hover preview if you’re on an affiliate blog, I only receive. So yes, but on a technicality.

This this this! I don’t disagree that Hopper is annoying and brutish in this season, but I don’t understand where anyone got the idea that he wasn’t like this the whole time. He’s a depressed alcoholic, and he’s falling back on that when things get tough.

hey look, a racist

LOL GOT EM, someone who describes people as a “Section 8 family” definitely votes democrat and you GOT EM GOOD! Lol! Liberal tears!!

Once our in-laws took my husband and I out to a Benihana. The other couple (adults!) at our big hibachi table legit whipped out an iPad and started watching Law & Order together. They started out with the volume on but switched to headphones eventually. With and without headphones, it was completely bizarre.

Same from the LIRR -_-

Not to disagree with your point, but I’ve read this like six times and I don’t see anything about screens, screen protectors or scratching -- it’s about a Disney-themed Switch?? Am I missing something? Did the article get edited?

I’m so sorry =[

I still have these. My friends get mad if I don’t put them out. We’re in our 30's. If they ever break I WILL replace them.

Theoretically only by China - remember when Trump started a small scandal by merely calling the president of Taiwan after he won the election?

I think Anika Noni Rose (who I also loved) is more in line with their usual Princess voice actress casting, which leans towards broadway and less famous singers instead of pop, with Mandy Moore as the exception.

“Earlier today, ProPublica published an investigation about several 9,500 current and former Border Patrol officers sharing violently racist and sexist posts in a secret Facebook group”
