Ugh, Dual Destinies was the newest game in my case when I lost it on a train. I'm certainly grateful that for whatever stupid reason my 3DS wasn't in the case too, but I'm still salty too. There were more games in it than I should have been carrying because it had a handy back zippy pocket. It was even on my birthday.

I guess ideally you have vaccine/immunocompromised-only clinics and clinics where people who refuse vaccines can go. Or you start doing house calls for infants and immuno-compromised folks, but even this isn't ideal, because what if you just did a physical for a kid who's coming down with the measles but isn't

Cinderelly Cinderelly, we love you ~so~ much but get your mitts off of our boyfriend THIS INSTANT.

Yeah but what about the rest of the patients? Allowing parents to delay vaccinations makes the doctor's office unsafe for kids who are too young to be vaccinated or kids who are immunocompromised and can't be vaccinated. So you're sacrificing the health of the educated compliant for the health of the purposefully

UGH. So when I have a kid, how am I supposed to know whether I'm bringing baby to a clinic where there are unvaccinated kids snotting and voming all over the waiting area? Can we make vaccinated patient-only clinics a thing? And only make exceptions for immuno-compromised people so they *also* don't have to fear for

I saw someone getting the walk-around in Animal Kingdom at one of the buffets. I was hella impressed. Disney may be expensive, but you really get what you pay for!

So, I kind of want to go buy a pair now. I agree with all the sentiments of this article, but I've actually been looking for a pair of new pajama bottoms for the spring since most of mine are heavy winter ones. So I could buy them from something like this, or I could go to Target or another cheapo store, where my

This is the best argument so far. You can be 100% annoyed with the way they're peddling their message, but if you say "I'm not gonna buy this because the message is exploitive!" and *then* go shop at Target or Walmart or the like, you've chosen to support an infrastructure that actually hurts women like these. We're

I suspect person was referring to the guilt-inducing photos of people living in slums with dirt-encrusted clothes and towels hanging from lines outside, but the point still stands =P

That's because we, as more suffessful American women, feel that those American women had the ~exact same opportunities as the rest of us~, and that somehow gives us the right to label them sluts.

This is a beautifully story; thank you so much for sharing it ❤️LLAP

*hug*

From a lady's POV they're treated the same in media. You can't show a penis on network TV; you can't show fully uncovered breasts on network TV. You put a picture of a dick on Facebook, you get banned. You put a picture of boobs on Facebook, you get banned. I heard the word "tits" get censored on E! the other night.

It's such an ironic criticism considering how many of the same people saying that are the ones trying to argue about how women's breasts really move, or what comes across as realistic or unrealistic to a female gamer.

Outrageous, considering the sophisticated and thoughtful vocabulary sported by the average young male gamer. Playing Halo or Call of Duy with the multiplayer audio on is personally a truly enriching, touching, and enlightening experience. She should raise her bar to their lofty level.

Seriously! Same for pain sounds. A lady being stabbed with a knife doesn't make the same sound she makes when she's stabbed with something *else*.

I saw her trying to draw clear lines all throughout her NYU talk, and I could sense what a fraught endeavor that was. As easy as she had suggested some of the changes in gaming could be, so much of this is likely to be controversial—and not just because someone might be sexist. How do you balance creators' freedom

"I find that to be something of a flawed argument. Breasts while a sexualized area of the female body doesn't qualify as genitalia like a penis does. Showing a female characters vulva is the equivalent of showing a penis; at least to me.

The metal detectors, and the overall heightened security presence at Sarkeesian's talk, were impossible not to notice. I heard a few attendees mutter about this being necessary or finding it absurd that a talk about women in gaming, of all things, required this kind of presence. An NYU rep told me they hadn't set up

This is beautiful.
