Yeah, we’re not looking for an exact nutritional substitute, we’re just trying to reduce our meat intake.
Someone said it on here previously, but: the prequel trilogy were a great story told poorly, the sequel trilogy was a poor story told well. The acting, cinematography, editing, dialogue (at least in the micro terms of how actual people actually talk to each other) and overall lack of pretense are a lot better in these…
Man, I fucking hate it when people with different interests to me are catered to. You win this time, 90s boy band fans.
So, at this point, why even give this woman oxygen?
I was really hoping companies would jump on the Biltong bandwagon. Most jerky has added sugar to it, and I’ve had jerky without sugar, and it’s actually pretty gross. It’s been a long time since I’ve had jerky (unless it’s Kirkland Steak Strips), but Biltong is my new favorite snack and I wish it would catch on here…
Right, what is the point of this post? Tarantino’s criticism boils down to corporatism has devalued the experience of sitting a packing theatre with strangers to watch a film and Sam is taking issue, with his usual smug superiority.
I mean I went to an AMC to catch Godzilla vs. Kong after getting my shots, and... he’s not 100% wrong
I personally put hot dogs, along with polish sausage, brats, red hots, etc, in their own category, “sausage-inna-bun” (thank you, CMOT Dibbler).
Stars and Celebrities? What do they know? Do they know things? Let’s find out!
First draft:
It was a late night in Lewisham,
Two chicken kebabs I did invest in.
One and off the bus went I,
Kebabs were suddenly not by.
So what did I do with ‘em?
I consider myself a big fan and I actually have a wife, children and sex more often than Al Bundy did at least as I’m climbing my 40's.
First, great review! I like how you went into the different camera angles and setups that Soderbergh used. And second, it sounds pretty good and hits all the sweet spots of stuff I like:
I much prefer the Impossible burger over the Beyond Meat. But the Beyond Meat brats are the very best sausages you can find. I don’t like Field Roast links and I don’t like Upton’s jackfruit - it’s too wet and has none of the “char” or fattiness of pulled pork. I just buy a can of jackfruit in water and make it myself…
Add some vinegar to whatever non-dairy milk you like using, or better yet, water down some plant-based sour cream or yogurt. If it’s just a lactose issue, just use lactose-free milk and the pickle brine; it won’t be as rich as thick buttermilk, but it’ll still get the job done, and done damn well.
Only I may dance.
That was a really cool cold open for nice send off episode. I especially liked the end of the episode when Conan took the time to show appreciation for a lot of his long time staff. I know he’s not going anywhere, but I’m still sad. It’s gonna be weird not having him on each weeknight.
One of my coworkers is a very touchy guy and covid was a blessed relief. He is starting back at it and I will have to fet a squirt gun to remind him that I have asked him to stop it.
No, a lot of us customers actually appreciate the alternative system which, in my experience, also had more descriptions of the menu items.
