The we already have civil partnerships argument doesn’t fly for me, if the point is they can almost get married as it is then why not allow full equality?

Obama’s comic timing is amazing. I adore his deadpan snark delivery.

Omg it’s not food related, but my favourite Nihilist Twitter person is KimKierkegaardashian. @KimKierkegaard :

all babies look the saaaaaaaaaame

Really? That’s what your take on this is? This behavior is all due to public schools? Riiight.

...with the addition that he was also always second to Anne, and never the primary thing of her life.

I think what made the Gilbert character so unforgettable in the minds of many girls and boys is that he represented a very underrated image of masculinity. He was gentle, selfless, sincere, and devoted (much like Matthew Cuthbert). He wasn’t a bumbling oaf, a brawny hunk, a marginalized nerd, or an over-the-top

My favourite parts were when he tried proposing to her on the foot bridge and in the barn, so earnestly and passionately. When she rejects him, he broods - sent me into swoon-mode every time!

I am NEVER going to get over Crombie’s death, and my eternal love for Gilbert Blythe. I mean, frig, my wedding was loosely AoGG themed, because my husband and I started off just like Anne and Gilbert. We hated each other.

The death of Gilbert Blythe sent me to bed early last night. Isn't it strange that you can be so invested in characters from your youth?

I don’t think people wearing crosses normally get picked on.

The best part of the First Amendment is that YOU, idiot internet commenter, get absolutely ZERO say in how and why a person practices their religion. YOU are completely IRRELEVANT to anyone else’s religious practice. YOU can just go fuck right off. Bye Felicia.

If I had a million dollars we wouldn’t have to eat Kraft Dinner, but we would eat Kraft Dinner. Of course we would, we’d just eat more, and buy really expensive ketchups with it. That’s right, all the fanciest Dijon ketchups.

So, what’s the solution? Force people who are not white to take jobs that they don’t want? As stated in this piece, the people aren’t there because they are going for higher paying, higher status jobs. Are we to say, “No, you can’t be a doctor or a lawyer like you want and dream. We need to you to be a teacher?” That

tend to attract white/Anglo, middle class folks who “want to make a difference”, rather than folks who want, and need, to make good money.

I do not understand the logic behind him making you wear your dress. Was it specifically for humiliation purposes, or was that somehow “proof” that your clothes never came off that night?

I’ll Debbie Downer this competition real fast.

Holy Fuck you're right. Maybe he was running towards a loaded cannon. Better put 8 rounds in him just be sure.

Er, she went to St. Andrew’s. I’m pretty sure she knows who Margaret Atwood is.

She’s totally right, and I don’t think it was meant to be any kind of dig at Kate. It’s her job to dress in a non controversial manner.
