I dunno man, I've given McDonald's three chances with their coffee, and each and every time it has tasted so burnt I'm positive it had been brewed the previous day and reheated in the microwave.

I haven't seen a metal speculum in years, my GP uses a 'plastic' one. (I'm not completely positive on the polymer... but is plastic-ky)
