Being a new driver, I’ve only ever driven 3 or so cars, but I hate the 3rd gen Sienna. Our family has one as well as a ‘04 Odyssey. I drive the Odyssey every chance I get. The Sienna’s transmission is so frustrating; you push the gas down to merge or climb a hill, and it takes ages to drop a gear or two. The Odyssey

Agreed.  This is a great put around town extra car.

Plastic body panels can hide a lot, but the apparent condition in the pictures and its current southern California location don’t have me worried. If I were in the market (and was willing to settle for a slushbox), I’d be willing to roll the $4k dice.

My motto while driving is “just say no to Subaru wagons.”

Oh you know what I was thinking of the wrong van entirely, when I wrote my initial response I was thinking of a different van but couldnt remember where I saw it so threw the thought out. But I’ve sense found out what van I was thinking of, it was the Bisimoto turbo Honda odyssey

This past week, I got a Mustang and an Edge as rentals.

This Chinese guy made a panel of physical buttons connected to the control unit port in his Tesla. You have buttons for pretty much every major function. This device completely defeats the purpose of minimalism. What do you think?

A gray, beige, or white Chevy Equinox with Ohio State stickers and 5,000 pieces of dealership regalia that has never been removed. You are completely shafted if you find yourself behind one. Guaranteed 5 under the limit at all times, and god help you if you ever need to merge to highway speeds behind one.

This is exactly like the one I purchased new. Great minivan and very comfortable for the family!!!

Both of my Stealth’s were built in Japan, Rebadged Mitsubishi 3000GT

The excitement is so different though.

Bradley Forgot the Stealth

boneheadotto such a good call on standard-sized stereo holes.

They did but it didn’t make the cut, neither did my footwell high beam suggestion.

I miss the high-beam switch on the floor. Your hands do enough in a vehicle. Let your feet get more action.

Car buying advice I overheard at a party:

Oh, I am absolutely not saying that ABS shouldn’t be on every car and that the world isn’t a better place with ABS or that the average person has even an inkling of a chance of understanding how to perform better than an ABS system. Modern ABS is a true marvel, my only point was that the purpose of ABS is not to

I’ve heard the whole “invest the money and get a better return” argument from many different sources, but I’ve never been able to wrap my head around it. So I guess the conceit is, if you have $35k or so lying around, rather than buying a new car, you should put that money into “the market” whatever that means, and

“You should buy a new car.” - 2023

That 228 hp is also moving way less weight around.
