I don’t think there’s any doubt that non-ICE cars will become the norm among new vehicles eventually. ICE will be relegated to cheap used cars and enthusiast vehicles. Whether those non-ICE cars will be battery-electric or something else, who knows.

But you...you know what’s in the best interest of people you’ve never met. Classic.
I don’t think he is necessarily wrong about what things will be like in 2030 in some states and countries. The shift to EVs becoming the standard, and ICE vehicles becoming a small, enthusiast niche, seems somewhat inevitable. However, there is a long way to go before we get to that reality, right now EVs are just…
Yeah, and why buy a gas stove right now either?
Sure sounds like confirmation bias or becoming a focus group of one to me. ICE powered cars will continue to be a thing for a quite some time.
Thank you. This isn’t one of those Hotcars-esque sites that just shoots out cliche lists of cars, we actually know things here.
+1... was about to say the same thing. This thing about the Prowler being ‘slow’ is just ridiculous.
Why?
It weighs *605lbs*. That is a better power-to-weight ratio than my Spitfire had stock. They were quick enough that they were raced in period.
“Heading to?” I thought they already got there when the dropped all the cars except the Mustang.
This x 1M.
Is Ford heading into being no longer considered a “full line” manufacturer?
Dealers are currently turning away EV inventory. Who are these EVs for, exactly?
I love carbs. Both the bread kind and the toast kind.
In Jeepenese, “Sport” means base model. I guess it’s “sporting” to forgo all features.
the other typical thing is the stupid 90* plastic coolant elbows.
Not sure that I agree. I’ve never driven a Prowler, but my mom had a ‘99 300M back in the day, with the same drivetrain and with 255HP it was actually quite fast for the time. I would hope the Prowler would weight a lot less than a full sized sedan.
I thought I read that a V8 would not fit in the engine bay either. Another reason why no V8.
tiburon wasn’t bad. It was a decent V6 coupe, certainly better than the same year Eclipse or Celica or other coupes in the similar price range.
The malaise era is ready for their time to shine.
