The official car of ‘Dark Angel’
I just bought a Maverick because it does everything I need it to do and it’s way less money and has waaaay better fuel economy than the other trucks on the market. Is it sexy or futuristic? Who knows. It’s a great little work truck so whatever.
In the case of the Maverick, I think the “outdated” styling is intentional. Ford is trying to transition a large segment of the previous generation of Ranger drivers to this vehicle (at a much higher price). Familiarity makes the transition much easier.
A limit is set for a reason. because saying “close enough” is how people get themselves into financial trouble. You bend your limit because, “eh, $26k is close enough to $25k, I can afford that.”. Then you find yourself saying, “well, if I can afford $26k, I can afford $27k because it’s close enough.” Next thing you…
Eh I got my Evo when I was 22 and it was my daily driver for 3 years. Light modifications and a couple time attack events won’t hurt it, but to be fair Evo’s were already capable track weapons stock...But the real kicker is that I didn’t even know how to drive stick, and had 3 days to learn before driving 80 miles to…
Easy:
True But upper middle class people don't want to drive a frumpy looking Chevy bolt
In terms of pricing, the average electric car does cost more than the average ICE car, but it certainly is not double. With the coming EV tax credits, that delta will most likely shrink.
EVs are not the magic bullet they are being sold as, but they are well suited as a replacement for ICE as a primary (but not only*) vehicle. For the many households that have more than one vehicle, changing one (or more) to an EV for daily use makes a lot of sense.
Love my electric car, but for road trips it does kinda suck. Around town, it’s FAR better than any gas powered anything. For long road trips, I want a gas powered anything.
Ok, I hate Donald trump as much as the next guy, but some the gripes are legitimate...
Literally every single article on this site that references the Vue and its 3.5L v6 being in the Redline, but fail to mention it was also available and more prevalent in the normal Vue. The engine is not exclusive to the Redline, literally all the redline package was in this case was a body kit and lowered. Same…
Dude my friggin 1995 chrysler new yorker has this
My 1988 Plymouth Reliant had them too. Congrats to Jeep though, for marketing something that is 35 years old as a new feature.
My 1988 Plymouth Reliant had a nozzles on the wiper arms too. Good to see the Jeep engineers hard at work.
LOL, wut? Many, many manufacturers have already come up with this. I have two cars with effectively the same system and they are 15 years old.
Our 1984 LeBaron had this
Um, my 1993 Plymouth Sundance had this. It’s not new. One of the jets was misaligned and sprayed right out the side of the car. It was great for spraying people in the school parking lot.
I’m pretty sure my Mom’s 84 Caravan had some sort of wiper arm nozzle that moved with the arms, too.
