The people commenting on “Old Muscle” clearly have no realization how fast these cars truly were.
Mind you, they were doing it on Bias Ply tires with Zero Driver Aids and 2,3, and 4 speed automatics.

Modern cars are great if you’re the type who thinks tech and nannies make a car great.

Sure....

Hmmm...

You can’t say those things, the plebs will go crazy.

Ah yes, use the debunked fact checkers to support your claim.... https://nypost.com/2021/12/14/facebook-admits-the-truth-fact-checks-are-really-just-lefty-opinion/

So what you’re saying is all these “Covid deaths” were actually pneumonia deaths caused by ventilators.......

Yep, but the masses will never believe that, no matter how many times the money trail is laid in their face.

I mean, it was proven that putting people on ventilators for Covid led to more deaths...... But okay....

Pacificas do seem very hit or miss on reliability and unlike the previous Grand Caravan/Town and Country, their reliability isn’t tied to maintenance. You either get a good one or you don’t.

Under $4k for a fun little run about that’ll easily return 35 mpg.

“Too complicated, would crash the car looking for one of those tiny buttons that all look the same.”

I love driving, that’s why I quickly ruled the Sienna out. It’s “slow” transmission and sloppy handling completely ruined the driving experience.
That was before considering the interior and the road noise.

If you think the Sienna is good, go drive a Pacifica or Odyssey. You’ll regret buying the Sienna.

They might not be worse than the useless 3rd row CUVs, but they drive far worse than any of the other minivans on the market.

Compared to the competition, they are terribly dated inside and they drive like a hippo on roller skates.

The only thing they have going for them is “perceived reliability”.

Re-read the comment.
The author of this article is the one who remembers being in them.

I’ve driven a handful of them, they suck.

Toyota CUVs/minivans/Camry, Honda CUVs/Odyssey, and any NA Subaru.

You left out the important aspect “Seats 5 Comfortably”.

It’s called trip planning. A 4-5 hour drive is an easy accomplishment without stopping. A couple quick bite kinda snacks packed and even the kids can make the trip without needing a potty break.
