People in Scandinavia also aren’t commuting 40 miles one way, so......

This is the cleanest SC available.

Given this is a large BOF SUV, wouldn’t direct competition be things like the Sequoia, Tahoe, Yukon, Expedition, etc? Ya know, other large BOF SUVs?

Comparing a BOF SUV to a significantly smaller CUV, a pair of Jeep CUVs, and a smaller Toyota SUV seems kinda odd.

Na, the Tesla just has an electric subscription that never ends.

Sure.
That 5 passenger CUV with 280 mile range would have worked wonderfully on our impromptu trip to Minnesota this weekend with the family to visit our bed ridden uncle.

If you’d bothered to read any further comments, you’d see it’s been back to Tesla numerous times for it.
It’s “Normal in this climate” according to them.

$25k is a lot to spend fresh out of college, with college debt, and with a completely unknown job.
Especially when $5-10k will get a decent ride that will do the job “IF” a replacement vehicle is needed.

Well, if a fresh college student just starting a job can afford a $25k car right out the gate without needing to worry about payments, he’s either stupid with money and severely needs advice, or he’s rich and this advice does not apply. Regardless, purchasing a new vehicle without knowledge of a stable job or budget

Sometimes life advice is really what people are asking for when they ask these questions.
Especially in situations like this.

When you’re just starting a job, dumping any money is a terrible financial idea, period.

Novel idea:
Instead of going out and blowing $25k before you’re established in a job and have a known steady income, just keep what you have for a year or so so you get a better grasp on life and what you’ll actually need.

You’re right, it’s easily more “late 90s”.

We’re looking for worst not best.....

Eh, outside of the expanse of plastic dash, the Journey GT is actually a nice place to be:

The SRT4 was the only “good” Caliber:

Next up would be the 2016 Odyssey.
This interior looks straight out of 2002:

Toyota Sienna:

These all sound like you problems honestly.
Stop trying to blame this 86 Chrysler on your shitty history with Jeeps.

Me over here with 3 kids, a house payment, and working a 50+hour week job doing drivetrain swaps for fun on the weekends......

I’m very pleasant, so long as you’re not bitching about a free car completely unrelated to the post or making excuses to negate a completely decent vehicle due to said ownership of completely

Dude, you got a free vehicle. If you got it for free, obviously you’re going to have to fix it, doesn’t matter what manufacturer.
