Sorry to jump in, but in my dad’s groups of hunters, absolutely! They take all aspects of hunting very seriously. From having the license, to the cleaning of the animal, disposal of carcass, and they have to report to the ministry of a kill.

Yes, with the caveat that some sport hunters do whatever it is they do at least within guidelines and restrictions that ostensibly serve some ecological purpose (I have no problem with people killing deer for sport OR meat, considering we have done away with all natural predators).
