Alien tech. Obvious.

That, and Southern politeness.  I swear, people from the south get more and more polite the angrier they get.

Wait. Did your wife really leave you?  I’m sorry.

It depends on the contract negotiated, and what that local decides. A few things:

So, your argument isn’t that everyone should have this benefit, but that since many people don’t no one should?

I really enjoyed his podcast in the early days—one of the first podcasts I ever listened to. When his book about using geekery to lead a better life came out I had hoped to use it with my students (I teach middle school). Of course, it was complete inappropriate for the age (and not very well written or useful).

I remember when Bill Parcells came to New England and told everyone, linemen included, they needed to show up at camp being able to run a 13 minute mile. A few could not and where shocked when cut on Day 1. They said camp was to get in shape, and Parcells replied they didn’t have time for that—they were supposed to be

The Simpsons captured it best.

It feels like the headline is a bit more provocative than the actual story. It’s an important story, but the headline does not do it justice.

That scowl is not permanent. See:

A few things to be clear about:

You drop several thoughts about channels and elements of Wifi Analyzer that would produce better results, but a second article might actually explain why and how. I look forward to that one.

After changing my router to the best channel, I enjoy using Wifi Analyzer (Android version) to see the names of routers wherever I go.

Our family listens to Pandora (free) out of habit, in part. Also, Pandora is on my Roku and my wife plays music through the television (I’ve shown her that her phone and bluetooth speaker are a better option, and can follow her, but, no). So, habit.

It seems like Hinkle is handling it exactly like LGBTQ people say they want people who disagree to handle it. Had she said “Gay people are sinners and I can’t support that,” she’d be castigated—instead she declined for vague “personal reasons.” She gave up a chance to play; it cost her, not anyone else. I’m not seeing

We had a neighbor and their kid stole our kid’s wagon. I saw it in the backyard—he had taken off the wheels and literally had it up on cinder blocks. I contacted the police asking for advice. They knew the folks and suggested I might want to let them take care of it. They did.

I don’t know her playlist, but I get bugged by the language more than the bass. Even in traffic, I don’t want to be stuck listening to a whole lot of swearing with my kids in the car. Same with neighbors. (I, also, don’t want to hear it.)

This is what administrators have to deal with:

I’ll bet the admins are tired of the hijinks and drama. I know seniors think it’s fun and awesome, but as a teacher who just wants to run out the clock and get one more unit in (and has to deal with the fallout) it’s a pain.
