Is that because the sound quality better matches what you actually sound like, or does it just improve the sound it records like “auto-tune”?

That’s not technically true because people who know you have never heard your voice the way that you hear it. They just got used to the fact that our voices sound awful.

Not on the phone, it doesn’t. I hear my voice echo on the phone sometimes and the echo I hear sounds different from the voice I hear as I speak. Ahg, I hate to admit it, but I think this is right. We all sound horrible.

Yes, it does suck. I always thought I was a good singer, then I heard my recorded voice played back to me and I cried.
