The bells are the reason. Jon and others kept talking about stopping the attacks if the bells rang. When the bells rang, she saw stopping the attack as giving Jon the throne which she definitely was shown to be worried about.  It was a pretty big focus of the episode.

Yeah, the ship thing is the one thing that really had problem with.  Is everything super-rushed?  Sure, but I knew it would be.  Last season was very rushed and we still had a ton more story to finish.

I like The Last Jedi, but it has pacing issues on top of pacing issues.
