I really hope this film kicks off a Gillian Jacobnaissance. because she’s a very funny and expressive actor, and I think would excel in heading some kind of whatever the sort of thing comes next for female-led “prestige” shows after “GLOW,” but also in the vein of “Weeds?” Who knows where TV is headed.
