You are very literally describing science. Test and create the best information anyone has to make decisions. Continue testing to recreate results and validate or inform a better understanding. The transparency is a GOOD thing. Also it seems like maybe you didn’t actually read the article... nothing has really changed…

Because that’s how science works. As we learn more about something, the advice changes.
