Counterpoint: My wife wanted a Jeep, test drove an Unlimited Rubicon, and fucking loved it. I asked her about the ride specifically (and the live front axle) and she just said “good, I want to feel the rocks”. So now we own one and it gets dirty all the time.

It seems a little more Freelander than Defender as far as what Ford is doing with the Bronco Sport (compact unibody offroader)

Not sure how many people I speak for, but personally I am a Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited owner... and I love my jeep... but the idea that maybe I could have a jeep that’s not a Chrysler product... makes me Christmas Eve excited.
