I haven’t even made it through all the anecdotes, and this is what, like the 3rd or 4th major departure in the last six months, but this is the first one to make me tear up a little.

One thing I always liked about Jalopnik was that it had multiple women writing about cars and car culture. One by one, they all seem to have left.

A mere Imperial Star Destroyer isn’t fancy enough. Obviously it’s a Super Star Destroyer, with an interior fashioned from only the most endangered animals and the finest Corinthian leather.

I’m in Canada and the embedded videos all played for me. My VPN is already set to a few thousand kms from where I actually am. It’s generally more of a pain in the ass than it’s worth to switch to the US. It upsets a lot of internet sites.

Maybe they don’t care if you steal it or drive yourself, so long as you pay the fare when you get it?  There’s probably a standard “ripped out the Johnny” charge.  Like hotels that don’t care if you steal towels, they just add the cost to your bill.

I honestly can’t understand why anyone would ever street race. You have a venue for that, it’s called a fucking race track. Have at it in a safe environment and don’t risk hurting anyone else. It’s liberating, the most fun you’ll ever have with your clothes on.
