After observing this comment for the past 4+ seconds, I’m starting to suspect that it’s an understatement.

I’ve been cautiously developing an interest in NASCAR since the whole Bubba Wallace story came to light. I’d long written it off as a dumb redneck sport, but I decided to give it a second chance after seeing the Black Lives Matter car, and it turns out it’s actually kind of interesting.

Same! Or even just Lightning by itself.

I like all of this except the Maverick name on a truck. The Maverick is a baby muscle car and y’all know it.

Now playing

Here’s the video if you’re interested. I find MrBeast’s video style a bit cringey, but if this was legit, I guess he did help a few people.

It’s my birthday, and I’d just like to say: Thank you, Chrysler. The death of this god-awful shitbox is the second best present you could have given me. (I wouldn’t have said no to a free Challenger...)

I’ve never gone as far as “KYS”. I’ve said “no one likes you” to a few really hardcore racist/misogynist/Trumpster/Nazi trolls, but it’s definitely not something that should be thrown around lightly.

This is the correct answer, but I bet it’s not the one that anyone on this site wants to hear.

Cops aren’t a race.

They slapped the Blazer name on a car-based crossover. Chevy isn’t above messing with their brand names, they just haven’t gotten around to the Camaro yet.

I have seen worse, but it was still pretty bad. Nowhere in it does he acknowledge that what he said was racist, and“poorly worded” is a lame and meaningless excuse. It kinda seems like a very thinly disguised way to say “I’m sorry you were offended”, and it still puts the blame on the reader for seeing it as racist.

An actual apology would include acknowledgement that he’s aware he did something wrong. The closest he comes is saying it was “poorly worded”. It wasn’t poorly worded, it was very clearly worded racist bullshit.

What it means is that electric motors have a wildly different torque curve than a gas engine. Horsepower is measured wherever it peaks, but the actual power you get is defined by the area under the curve, which you can’t know from just one number.

Yeah, it seems Petrolicious very much caters to the “tHeY dOn’T mAkE ‘Em lIkE tHeY uSeD tO” segment.

Exactly. “Mainly good people” reminded me of the way Trump talks about Mexicans.

Some people learn and change from experiences like this. Some don’t.

His “apology” was just a load of excuses and backpedaling. He’s trying desperately to salvage his brand. He has absolutely no intention of learning or growing from this.

That “apology” is a word-for-word textbook example of the “I don’t have a racist bone in my body” backpedaling that every racist does when called out. It’s literally “I’m not racist, but...”. Fuck this guy with a ten-foot cactus.

Sweeeeeeeeet!

Alright, I’ll grant an exception for that.
