I saw the headline and was hoping for a minute that you had photoshopped a normal grille onto every BMW ever sold.

It would make more sense to have one motor for each hub, but have them be inboard like Humvee brakes and give each one a half-shaft to connect to the wheel. That way they can have four separate motors without adding any unsprung weight or using weird wheels.
