The battery is probably fine. Battery pack casings are incredibly sturdy (the industry learned a lot from Tesla’s explodely early years). A lot of totaled EVs still have perfectly good batteries, and there’s a booming secondhand market for them.

Batteries usually survive EV crashes, even if the chassis is totaled. They’re incredibly sturdy and well shielded. I’d bet money that the battery in this thing is totally fine.
