My biggest question is how upgrading works. I don’t think any company has announced a PS4 copy of a game would transfer to an Xbox Series X. I know that has to be a tricky thing to pull off and I’m not sure everyone would play nice enough about it for that to happen.

So I’ve always wondered about the future of non-disc drive consoles. When my best friend was in the Marines, I had to send him physical copies of PC games and he couldn’t even play those Ubisoft games that required the Always online back in 2010. The fastest internet I can get in Ohio is still slower than or equal to

I want this to be good so bad, but DA:I is the last good Bioware game and it’s still filled with more bugs than should be humanly possible because of the Frostbite engine. By the time this comes out it’ll have been in development for 10 years, and there really aren’t a lot of game with decade long developments that

Congrats on continuing to make this website worse to visit constantly.

Ironically Puyo Puyo is actually the hardest part of the Yakazu series for me, as the built in minigame in Yakuza 6 and Judgement is very very difficult to complete for challenges. Anyone who can play that for an hour straight only to lose on match #24 and just start back up again has my respect

I’m torn, because this means I can’t play it. My launch PS4 can’t play Judgement without overheating, and I’m assuming Yakuza 7 is going to have a similar effect. (Yakuza 6 and Kiwami 2 both had overheating issues, but I was able to work around them because I played them in the winter. Judgement I won’t be able to beat

It’s a little funny to me that Nintendo games are the only ones I buy same-day anymore, and so they’re the only ones that I’d appreciate some hype of so I could judge that decision better. Paper Mario’s quick announcement and release was interesting.

I do agree with the sentiment at large, especially since more games

Don’t buy a Sony console at launch. It will undoubtably have a manufacturing flaw.

How does this work with regards to registering the game? Is it going to be tied to a single use code, for instance, or would I be able to buy a used game/ borrow my friend’s and transfer those?

Battlefront II’s campaign wasn’t well written, and it was too short, but it was at least nice to play through the levels. They at least cared about making good Star Wars environments.

Hopefully this is longer, although I don’t have faith in any of EA’s SW content at this point.

Here I was hoping the update patch the spawn rate of the Eggs. It’s somewhere like 33%-50% for fish, materials, and dig up items. It’s maddening.

I guess I understand the sentiment, but as far as my experience goes American fast food chains are actually significantly better abroad, especially in East Asia. Did I eat in Japanese restaurants? Absolutely. I ate extremely amazing sushi, had ramen in an alley restaurant that only served five people at a time, had

Hopefully by 2077 Game Developers will have a union.

I will try to finish God of War, however, my first Gen PS4 has the unfortunate “overheating” bug where it thinks it’s overheating when it actually isn’t, and it shuts itself down sometimes before a game even loads :/ It’s well out of warranty unfortunately. And yes, I’ve tried everything. It’s not an actual fan issue,

I always want to know what the decision is behind certain games. Titanfall 2 costs $5 now, but at least it’s related to Apex Legends. I’m not complaining, as I’ve gotten into game series (Yakuza Kiwami) with the free games, and now I can laugh at every David Cage game with my friends since all three were free. I’m

I’ve been encountering this in a slightly different way. I’m finally going through the Yakuza series, but I play a different game in between each one because otherwise it’d be a little too repetitive. I finished Kiwami in January, break, Kiwami 2 in March, break, Yakuza 0 in june, break, and when I downloaded Yakuza 3

Genuine question, as I’m not sure where to find the answer. How often has the headline “Free Game” of the month been one that was part of a PS4 System bundle?

I don’t mind when it’s a game I already have, or that it’s a game that retails at sub $20 and is a greatest hits, but it’s just strange to see that it’s a game

Ah, to be young. I remember the massive amounts of Yu-Gi-Oh games released (including one based on the War of the Roses??) back in the day. And I remember getting cards banned in Middle School because even though they didn’t let us exercise during our “Recess” period, they didn’t let us do anything “controversial”

For years it was The Witcher 3. I loved it, but it’s such a massive game. A new game would come out that I was interested in, and those games would be significantly shorter - Titanfall 2 probably has my favorite FPS campaign this generation but it’s not long - and I’d beat the new game and then start clearing my

1.) How did this happen? How do you make it through a 2-year dev cycle and no one realized you can’t pause the game while offline? Yes, it’s designed primarily for co-op but people are going to play it offline at some point in general. I assume it was in error because if it was intentional then the game devs aren’t
