I know part of it is the distortion form the mic, but this just sounds so angry and I love it!
I love it when an engine sounds like it’s just guzzling gas at idle, almost like the fuel pump can’t keep up.
Honestly, it’s not the same. All those that add extra badges are lying, but not all that debadge are. Sometimes the manufacturers go overboard and it may look out of place. Every new Infiniti has that tacky displacement badge on the front fender that I personally detest.
Funny, just this last weekend I saw a guy with a first-gen Mazda 6 V6 with an “S” next to the V6 badge. This wasn’t just any S badge, it was from a Corolla...if you’re gonna use a fake badge, at least take one form a more powerful car, and not one from a car that barely qualifies as sporty.
If you took off the front and rear ends of these cars, I could totally agree; but these cars couldn’t look more different. Also, the Sonata should be a 5 door, the design is already there, just move the hinge to the top of the back window.
“The sedan’s days are numbered.”
Perfectly said, the 200 looks really nice, but my logical side just couldn’t justify buying anything from FCA.
I got a survey from Mazda shortly after I bought my 6, asking me if I’d be interested in a more powerful 6 if Mazda offered one; I checked the “yes” box.
So how does it work at Ford if you bought a Mazda, Land Rover, or Jaguar pre-2008?
I get that’s it’s designed the way it is to be efficient, but Tesla got to that same drag coefficient without looking completely out of place. This just looks gaudy to me, that front end is just too busy.
You can do everything with the buttons and dial. I’ve had my 6 since March and only touched the screen the day I bought it.
Recently took a road trip from Chicago to Eugene, Oregon. Most of it was highway until I got to Ontario, Oregon and got off of the interstate and onto US-20. The road has wonderful twists and long, open straights where no cops can hide. It starts by carving through a canyon, following the curves of the river and then…
Literally have goosebumps.
5 cylinder minimum? Guess the Fiesta and Abarth 500 were the exceptions.
You are correct.
Good timing, just yesterday I saw my first super car, and LFA in a strip mall parking lot in front of a Noodles & Company.
That backend is perfect. It’s a nod to the FD while looking wholly modern Mazda.
I feel like the headline of this article is missing a question mark.
