Yeah I respectfully disagree with this completely. I found Hopper’s behavior to be a new father who would have struggled with a teenage daughter (as many do IRL) in even the best of circumstances, and their circumstances are hardly ideal.

Considering the source, were you expecting anything else?

...and would you have been disappointed if that’s what you got?

Yadier Molina, Adam Wainwright, Matt Holliday, Big Papi, Kolton Wong, what do I win?

My point was that you shouldn’t wear sandals if you’re looking for socio-culturally acceptable footwear.

Sandals are not acceptable footwear for men under any circumstances. And don’t come back with “Well Jesus wore them!” because you sure as shit aren’t raising anyone from the dead.

The vernacular is established, and will remain until people no longer find it useful.  You’re fighting this fight about 15 years too late.

welcome back dad but we like mayo here now

I can sympathize with much of what your saying here my experience has been the same, I just had a loss where I had 2/3 for 6 different combinations and didn’t get a 2 star until round 13 including rerolls.

the person who gets 1st is generally the person who has the best rng but also has rivals with bad rng. Some comps beat others but nothing wins if you can’t get what your looking for.

I need this someone to teach me how to play these, card games have RNG but because you have a deck you’ve made its subject to conditions.

Not to mention the literal hundreds of thousands of college sports that air on television.

People watch Basketball because not everyone is a trained athlete that can play on the level professionals play at.

You’re just another person in this world that feels special enough to judge others for the things they like. Whatever, dude. I’m sure you sit around your yurt admiring your Van Goghs and playing cribbage.

I would argue that people who watch others play video games don’t like video games at all.”

“Twitch is basically live youtube videos where you throw money at the screen in hopes the guy playing says thanks for your cash dummy.”

That definition of ‘story’ is quite a stretch. Sorry, but just because something happened doesn’t make it what anyone would call a ‘story’.

Most people watch streamers for, ya know, the actual streamer, regardless of the game they play. If they’re Following/Subscribing to that streamer, they’re going to watch them no matter what game they play (with some exceptions, of course). If you’re watching Blazesmoker420 play Fallout: New Vegas, you’re there for

That depends entirely on the game and the person’s experience with it. For example, I’ve played Super Mario RPG and Ocarina of Time dozens and dozens of times. There’s nothing about playing the games myself that will surprise or change me. But watching a Twitch streamer/YouTuber I like playing those games can be a fun

There are plenty of video games where you have no control over the story, unless you consider the choice of dying or winning ‘control’ over the story.  And watching Twitch is about as ‘lazy’ as any other passive form of entertainment.  Listening to someone play music instead of playing music yourself isn’t lazy, it’s

Just to note, there’s a lot more variety on Twitch now that just guys playing games. For example, there’s Happy Chef TV, which is basically a live cooking show. There’s also an entire category devoted to stuff like creating cosplay costumes and paintings. And then there’s streams of pre-produced content, like RiffTrax
