that’s a big gap in comparison.

You know they have some holographic porn. As soon as they figured out how to do the hologram projection of people talking, the next thing they did with it is project people fuckin’. It’s the natural progression.
Personally, I’d love a film that tackles the question of why the Galaxy’s technology seems to be stagnant and what the means.
There are ways to play Standard without spending a ton of money, but they rely wholly on the secondary market and being willing to re-sell cards. Buying packs in hopes of hitting on the good cards you specifically need/want is a poor investment.
That’s true, it can be complex, but it really depends on how you build it. WotC did a batch of single color Commander decks, and they are pretty straightforward by nature.
There’s a Supra that is frequently parked in front of the ATT Store that is close to my house, of all places. It’s black and has red side mirrors. Because it can be found in front of the ATT Store on most days, I assume it’s the store manager. I don’t know what kind of scratch an ATT Store manager pulls down, but good…
Commander/EDH is amazing, and so is cube. My father-in-law has a P9/Good Old Cards cube and it’s so much fun to play with those older cards again. Other than occasional binges on MTG Arena, the only Magic I play anymore is Commander.
FWIW, I’ve heard that at least the first couple DLC heroes are free.
Yeah, as somebody who has played off and on for most of the 26 years it’s been around, the best advice I can give somebody is to just not start out worrying about competitive Magic, in any form, at all. This includes pre-releases, Friday Night Magic... all of it. Yes, FNM and pre-releases are less competitive, and…
I’ve heard of Gout, but was unfamiliar with the causes. I’ve never had family with it, to my knowledge... so like the author, I also lumped it in with the likes of scurvy and dysentery and other “old time” diseases.
What I do find odd is that the marketed selling point for this expansion consists of allied races that need reputation and achievements from last expansion to unlock.
I think the primary disagreement here is that you personally don’t view the races as a selling point (just like I personally think the story is dumb), even though they most certainly were supposed to be. They were sold, along with island expeditions, as the primary additions to the game beyond standard level cap…
I don’t really think he goes anywhere where he hasn’t basically hand-picked the people around him. His only real public appearances are his poorly disguised Klan rallies. Otherwise he’s on the toilet rage-tweeting, yelling at reporters from under a helicopter, or on a golf course with sycophants.
There are leaks around, that if true, indicate that they are at least exploring turning it into a shooter.
I think the difference is that you consider the allied races the ‘real selling point of BfA. I guess that ignores the actual gameplay, storyline, and guild comaraderie.
I’ve never seen anybody try to explain how putting the only real selling points of BfA behind grind walls is A Good Thing Actually, but here we are.
You can put me in the right age group for the target demographic who is surprised at this becoming some kind of seasonal classic, and is of the age to have seen it when it was released in theaters.
Tim McCarver is just Smoltz but older and less mad. He has the same bullshit arguments as Smoltz, but has that senile old man thing going on so it doesn’t seem so agressive.
His voice gets louder sometimes, but he never really seems excited.
2800 sq. ft house here, doesn’t get as cold as Denver but gets cold enough. Wife likes the house at 72, so that’s where it usually is until it gets cold enough where it keeps it running constantly, and it gets bumped down to 68. My gas bill has never been more than $70.
