Agreed. I’d say that Fl4k is clearly multiple heads and shoulders above everybody, with Moze next and then Amara being a bit above Zane.

The problem isn’t that Zane is that bad. He’s not the best, obviously, but he’s playing against a stacked deck. Moze and especially Fl4k are the outliers, with Amara being ever-so-slightly above the baseline.

there’s a little part of me that wants the feeling of being better than mediocre at at least one fighting game.

I have mostly stopped watching the NFL... it’s on in the house because my wife still likes the tradition - it was a weekly thing for her growing up, and she still wants to do it, but even she’s waning on it. I usually just chill out on the couch with my face buried in my phone or Switch. Or snacks.

No, even the worst places for bothering servers in my experience - places like Hooters and Twin Peaks - maybe check one or two additional times over the normal.

The addition of a parry system brings additional complexity

Yeah, that generally seems to be the attitude I’ve observed around here for the Blues: Elation from winning, cautious optimism for the future - not expecting to repeat, but expecting to remain in the mix.

To be fair/pedantic, They aren’t mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, just winning the division. I heard on the radio this morning that they have something like a 2.4% chance of making the playoffs... so, you know. There’s a chance.

I bought my Switch when SSBU came out, and it remains a source of buyer’s remorse to this day.

From what I’ve seen, I don’t think they expand west much past Columbia, if they do at all. No idea on the eastward distribution.

Yeah, this list mostly seems to be taking the spicy chips that are designed for mass appeal and actually eating, not the ones that are designed to be truly spicy.

Nah, some morally bankrupt team (read: all of them) will sign him.  Unless the actual NFL bans him from playing, he’ll probably be on a team within a few weeks, definitely next season, assuming he continues facing no legal consequences for his actions.

Semi-related, the biggest thing pulling me out of the immersion in the early game was being sent on fetch-quests while Lilith is around.

There’s no way that BotW was sold at a loss. Per Google, as of March of this year, it had sold 14.27 million copies. Assuming $60 per for ease, that’s $850 million. There’s no hard numbers I could quickly find about the development costs, but I’m reasonably certain that it was a substantial profit.

I don’t have a reluctance to pay $60 for new games. I do have a reluctance for paying $60 for a short game that is only a graphical update for a Gameboy game that came out 26 years ago, and is not likely to be discounted any time soon because Nintendo.

I suggest the remix, but you’re probably going to be moderately disappointed either way, especially coming in fresh off a (re)watch of the original seasons.

No it wouldn’t, because without moderation (simply having to be legal isn’t enough moderation), it’s just going to become a porn site. There are already a bunch of pornographic cam sites, and there are already sites for your pornographic cartoon needs.

Twitch hasn’t been about only games for some time now, and two of the consistently large categories are IRL and Just Chatting, neither of which relate to games at all. There’s also the art and music creation channels, the channels that do nothing but air stuff like Bob Ross shows, etc.

This used to be my wife and her desire to have kids. After our niece was born, when she’d go back to visit her family, she’d come back sorta-kinda wanting a kid (something we had agreed we didn’t want). All it would take to dissuade that was going somewhere with a loud kid, but still.

The jokes go on for too long.
