Uh, just to be clear, the guy has absolutely no case whatsoever and the chance that this is getting thrown out immediately is essentially 100%. The TechDirt article has a link to the motion to dismiss, I would suggest anybody read it before thinking the dude has any kind of a case at all here.

This lawsuit doesn’t stand a chance.

This shithead has a good case.

Classic Streisand Effect.

I thought you were talking about Kinja for a second smh

All due respect, though.

I think there’s an interview over on i09 where Kirkman specifically addresses this, saying it’s much easier to tell a self-contained narrative arc when the whole run of the comic is written as opposed to the Walking Dead where he was still actively writing it, so it seems like they’re at least cognizant of it.

Could I be any more shocked?

Apparently I absolutely did.

Right? I have huge problems with both those movies but I always roll my eyes when people point out that The Last Jedi made less money, as if therefore that proves (?) it’s a worse movie (??) or something. You’re telling me that the first Star Wars movie in ten years made more money than the third Star Wars movie in

It’s sort of interesting that Aster has come up via horror because I think that has given him a false sense of what a mass audience will endure as far as discomfort goes. I loved Hereditary but hated Beau and a lot of the difference for me comes from the self-indulgent absurdist social discomfort of Beau. There is

The Last Jedi

What if they were Cowboys?! :)

Zwing and a miss!

Huh? You must be a paid PR person. The public won’t side with actors for long? LOL. Yeah, they’re going to fall in love with Bob Iger and forsake the stars they love. What a laughable take. Revenue sharing is a non starter? UH, why?? These corporations shouldn’t have to pay more? Iger makes 27 million a year. The

The show, Suits. suits so HARD! Love it when the main Suit suits up and says his famous catchphrase, “SUITS UP, MUTHERFUCKERS!”

What an absolute nonsense way to frame this narrative, these results being from almost a month ago aside - Suits at 2.5 billion minutes watched that week sure, but with 135 episodes - One Piece has 8 episodes and scored just a billion minutes less, so unless I’m calculating wrong far more people have seen One Piece

“Show with broad appeal beats show with narrow appeal" - only AVC could mill some content out of that.

I liked the Friday the 13th remake but I would put Part 2 of the Original if I was going to put any Friday on the list. Maybe even Part 4 or 6 before the remake.
