The legal definition of murder does not matter. The word can be used colloquially like almost any other word, and can be a very subjective term given the circumstances. The family had a reasonable belief backed up by police statements and can’t be sued for stating an opinion. If they could literally every victims’

He absolutely does not have a case, and this is exactly what anti-SLAPP laws are for. Saying you think someone is a murderer, even to their boss, is an opinion not a statement of fact and is very much protected speech.  Particularly here since the police thought the same at some point.

The creativity on display Scavenger’s Reign is absolutely mind boggling. It is beautiful, brutal and impossible to predict.

Ewwwwww

Sorry, this whole thing reeks of disgruntled former employees. I believe Lizzo on this one.

I can’t agree more. Those last two episodes were honestly peak Star Wars for me. Between the almost non stop, beautifully animated action, to the perfect emotional beats (her conversation with Rex as to why she wouldn’t kill the turned clones being a highlight), I loved every second of it. Going to rewatch tonight in

I agree with what you’re saying here. One minor convenience with block is it was one click and your DMs and tweets (while logged in) were immediately shut down to that person and now you have to mute and block DMs separately. Maybe not a huge extra lift but may give opportunities for more harassment while people

Having a known history of mental illness is not a pass to attack someone. But if you want to play the kind of gross game that he should’ve known better because of her past, then she should’ve know better before impulsively marrying and breaking up with someone.  That’s a TMZ recipe waiting to happen.  Did she

You seem very ready to believe he’s a bad guy or lying when honestly Brittany’s behavior through the decades (which includes cheating) makes it totally plausible that he’s telling the truth. We can have empathy for the way she’s been treated in the past without giving her a knee jerk pass for something I can see her

I’ll help you find the count then. There are over 700 billionaires in the US, and the above article is a basically complete list of all the black billionaires here. So feel free to count what percentage 17 out of 700 is. By count that it isn’t good, but since we got Oprah and Jay-Z in there I guess we’re good on

Totally agree!  If dumb phones fix the text thing they would become a bigger thing.

It’s literally in the article that they’re leaving California too

This is Machiavellian evil. Like they don’t even see non-primary actors as human beings. Just $&@? them for living

Very true. Companies that ignore EU regulations and FTC security safeguard agreements are even worse

Very much this. They say only people I follow option is on its way, but it’s damn near unusable until then. Still prefer it to Twitter though

This seems like the obvious or at least partial reason to me. It took me 10 minutes to figure out the settings I wanted

I think we need to see the rest of this season play out before we jump to conclusions. Still, the general treatment of Maria Hill in the MCU has been abysmal. For my money her character in the comics is pretty great and far more interesting than Nick Fury, and Colbie Smulders is absolutely up to the task of a better

I think it’s fine to be suspect of Government interactions with social media and more transparency about those interactions are good. But Twitter itself has said repeatedly the government didn’t force them to remove anything. That they did so because they agreed it should be taking down per their own TOS, AND the

This is one of the best simplified explanations of climate change I’ve ever read.

And this won’t stop kids from continuing to access it. All kids these days are computer savants compared to the rest of us and, VPNs are bountiful and easy to use. Also I for one don’t want the state actively tracking me every time I want to watch How I Wet Your Mother.
