Hollywood is racist. I mean, yeah, I’m a member of said community. And yeah, I profit as much from the established community. But I’m, like, aware of the racism so it’s not the same. Like how white Gawker writers are superior white folk.

I think because Ironman is literally marketed as “the true XCOM experience.” Even says so in the game. Anything else isn’t the “real” experience.

Turning permadeath on but reloading when someone dies totally defeats the purpose. Why do you bother then? That’s silly.

One thing I’ve noticed is that my guys get “gravely wounded” even when they take very little damage. I think it should only happen if your unit loses half or more HP. I’ve had guys gravely wounded for taking two or three points of damage despite having more than half left.

I’ve done it. Of course I’ve done it. It’s part of the game really. However, playing on Ironman is more fun even if it means the horseshit is permanent and there’s no escape from a crappy move or activation. It also just makes you better at the game.
