One thing I noticed in XCOM2 v. EU/EW concerning suppression is enemies will actually run it it XCOM2. In EU/EW, most of the time they actually stayed pinned or took a shitty shot. I had a Muton run overwatch, take the damage and then dodge two overwatch shots and critically wound my best soldier. Fucking XCOM2.

Being financially responsible and waiting until the next paycheck to get this is really fucking frustrating.

I would also add get up high as often as possible to get that juicy elevation bonus and take all rookies on each of your first few missions so you have a nice crop of leveled up troops at all times and don’t have to take rookies on late-game missions because your higher level troops got killed.
