Live action Pokemon movie now please

He’s profiting financially, but he’s also using that position to draw attention to real issues (something few public figures do) and he does a ton of charity work (which, again, is something few people do). Personally not liking his music doesn’t reduce or take away from any of that.

Dude’s admitting the existence of and calling attention to an issue that many, many white people either ignore or flat out don’t believe exists, and you write this whiny piece about how he’s a bad rapper.

“...become a good rapper who makes good songs, or get out of the way to make space for someone who will.”

I don’t mind having a show to watch that can just be funny and entertaining considering I can read and talk about things of political and social substance any time I want on the internet or specifically seek out tv shows that discuss such things.

I really, really want to be excited for Xcom 2, and I am, but after seeing so much footage there is a lot I don’t like about it and it’s basically all aesthetic things I don’t expect them to change.

Why do you say he “most likely” beat the shit out of her? Based on what?

You can still do it. Just don’t write a personal blog about your experience because that takes away from the authors or something.

Actually, I have to think it will solve a lot of my problems. Namely student and credit card debt.

You can do that. Just don’t you dare write a personal blog about your experiences and motivations. That makes it about “you.”

Oh, no. I got that that’s what the article is saying. I just think that’s stupid. Telling someone that they shouldn’t write about their choices and experiences reading women is unnecessary, divisive and does literally nothing to solve the issue surrounding female/minority writers. These are blogs written by

I really wish I could get into UFC, I just can’t.

I get the complaint about people making it about them and not the authors, but the point is these people looked at the issue and acknowledged it, make a conscious decision to read more books by women and minorities etc., and then wrote about why and their experiences with that decision. That’s a bad thing? That’s

Nope. Didn’t miss it. But thanks though. Your opinion was needed here.

This is about these people turning it into a story about them, and not the authors, when there’s nothing wrong with that if they’re just writing a personal blog about their experience. And yes, in an ideal world the race or gender of an author isn’t a selling point. Unfortunately, due to the fact that a lot of writing

Good. Go read a book.

Did you actually read any of the posts above? One is just a woman looking to improve as a writer. She sets out to read only women and writes about that experience and then links to the books she read. That seems reasonable to me. It also does more to promote the books and authors than this post does.

Yes, I do have an issue with her point and you engaged.

lol

Of course it makes it about you. The “you” in the above posts are individuals writing about their experiences with reading only a specific group. It’s about their personal experience so of course it’s about “you.”
