if you want to be at at the front, maybe go earlier?

I’m assuming this is a Gen Admin show. Even so, if I spent hours waiting in line so I could get a good seat, I’d be pretty pissed if someone told me to go to the back of the room. And if someone paid for more expensive seats up front, telling them to move to the back is so not cool.

I have questions...and issues.

Her intentions are good, but I can imagine a whole lot of brown/black people feeling incredibly uncomfortable being asked to come to the front. What if they’re happy standing or sitting where they are? They came to a concert, not be used as a prop.

I can see what she is trying to do, but it’s awkward, and just very easy for right wing publications to make a big fuss out of. It’s well intended but it has sure backfired. You should see the headline that the Dutch right-wing news site geenstijl.nl ran with this story.

The timing seems sketchy as hell but it doesn’t make sense that Harvey still has that kind of juice. Even though he’s not as powerful as he used to be, he’s still powerful, but powerful enough to pull the strings in a criminal investigation? I feel like I’m missing something here.

Isn’t this coming out now because McGowan mentioned it on Twitter? It’s odd to say the timing is “suspicious” when the timing was due to her publicizing it at this time. The police statements are because Radar looked up the warrant and asked the cops for a statement.

This isn’t court-ordered rehab. The LAPD is investigating now and the rehab is just an attempt at improving his PR.

So someone called them in January or February to say “get a warrant for this woman” because they knew what would happen late summer or early fall.
