Plus, some cars like almost all newer BMWs don’t even have throttle butterflies anymore. I was amazed to pull my N51-powered BMW apart and learn that there is no throttle body at all. I think it’s also important to note that most of the vehicles that don’t have a manual option are the “appliances”. They are the vehicles that you buy because you need to move people, just not particularly quickly or interestingly.
