$50K Civic Type R here we come!

We didn’t all die, so clearly safety features don’t mean shit.

Ha, this is America. Here “freedom” means you don’t have to care about other people’s health/safety.

When I was younger, I used to throw any trash in my possession in to the beds of random pickup trucks. My attitude was that if the trucks weren’t being used for actual work, they might as well serve a public duty as a dumpster.

When the “DISRUPTOR BIG DATA SHARKTANK FEATURED GET HYPE BRO” economy slips. All it will take is a one or a couple of the bigger “disruptors” to fail, and then pretty much everything over the past 5-6 years is going to cascade down. Uber comes to mind, which is why I always think “be careful what you wish for” when

Here’s what it will look like 24 months from now:

Here comes the next round of capital-raising to pay off looming debt...

So Toyota is the Apple of the car world?

There are 8,800 people working for BMW alone in Spartanburg, SC. Those people, are, I presume, Americans, because it’s in our goddamned country. Or does the cheetoh dust snorting idiot think Germany somehow annexed a US state?

Anyone who thinks we’re not in for some painful trade wars by this point is nuts - it’s just a question of what, and how much it hurts. I just hope the recession this causes isn’t too deep and that we can reverse it when he gets booted from office.

We better make sure we stop all those foreign made cars from driving down American streets!!

Move money out of defense spending and into infrastructure.

Don’t forget about weight and height, either.

Change it to be require testing in your current car every 5 years with tiers of qualification (200, 300, 400, 500+, FWD, RWD, AWD) and give the ability to test for higher speed licences (Surface Roads, HWY, HWY +10, HWY +25, HWY Unlimited). Make certain tiers at cost for testing and higher tiers more expensive.

I actually agree.....but something like that would have big implications in the auto industry. Consumers are killing off things with under 200 hp because they only buy giant things that need more than 200 hp. I’m all for regulations that persuade people to buy smaller vehicles, but you’d have to implement it right.

Okay, you’re a bit crazy with that. Do you know how many cars have 200+HP? You can get 300HP in a freaking Camry these days. We absolutely do not have the infrastructure to accommodate that. We can’t get stricter requirements on the elderly to do more than pass a freaking eye exam to keep their licenses, what you’re

Or prohibitive insurance, like in other countries. 18-20 years old, you want a 2.0lt engine, that will be 6000-7000 a year. However with a lot of people, they would ignore that and drive without insurance.

Everything over 200hp requires a performance driving school. I’d apply for that in a second!

Great info here!
