Saw this on facebook this morning. A woman is walking to DC to raise awareness of her struggle with breast cancer without insurance. Couldn’t find it again to share and googling turned up only two hits. Jez should give her a boost.

This is one of the saddest stories I’ve ever read.
After a months-long delay, the Senate confirmed Eric Fanning as the new secretary of the Army, making him the first…
Bobby, I agree with everything you said regarding the destructive nature of Brown’s actions towards a community that faces real challenges on a daily basis, but can we also talk about what kind of weirdo orders a single layer cake?
I am SO SO HAPPY that my father decided to leave that country and bring my family to the US. We were already a minority in Iran, and the stirrings of the Revolution hastened his decision to leave. Brb, I gotta call my dad and thank him.
Aw thanks :)
That’s a bit of an overreaction. I don’t think the comment was condescending.
Variations on the phrase “getting one’s life” are thrown around rather loosely these days. Sure, you may have…
America needs to have a referendum about when women must show skin and when they cannot, since there doesn’t seem to be choice for them. My understanding so far is:
This will ensure any woman who considers reporting a sexual assault remains in her terrified silence for all eternity.
I guess it made it easy for her to fuck her married director because Kristen didn’t know his wife. She was just some amorphous concept and no one that Kristen had to concern herself with.
I think this is more good ole-fashioned egocentricity and self-centered behavior. I'm curious as to whether she actually spoke to Jesse or not. It's impossible to tell really but his quote kinda makes it seem like the conversation never happened but he didn't want to call her out. But I'm admittedly reading into it.

I love how uncomplicated this makes my hot mess of a life look.
The law may only have been used 40 times in Texas over 7 years, but given that in the 10 months before it was passed, 13 babies were found dead in Houston trash bins I’d say it may have been worth it.
I mean, it’s the least we can do if we’re going to outlaw abortions and provide little to no support for pregnant women and mothers of small children. Seriously. This is actually the LEAST we can do. But it’s a mile better than babies being left in dumpsters.
I'm glad this exists, but anyone else kind of weirded out that it's kind of like dropping off a rental at blockbuster?
