The failure of toasted ravioli to take America by storm (a deep fried meat ravioli topped with marinara sauce and paremsan?  In America?) is our country’s second greatest mystery.  The first being all of November 2016.

I mean, how do you feel about American cheese?  If you find it gooey and delicious despite the artificiality, you would find provel just fine.

I’m sorry for your loss, but this was a very brave, moving, and nuanced examination of his life and what he so clearly meant to you.  Thanks for sharing your story.

Check out the shit-stirring MOB at Rice University for a good example of such a band.

I will never, ever tire of that clip, particularly Sweet Dee’s non-reaction to what she’s seeing.

I didn’t realize that was them.  Even more impressive, really.

November 2, 2016: Cubs win World Series, upsetting the delicate equilibrium of the universe, opening up a portal to the Upside Down - a world that looks just like our own, but contains homicidal monsters and everything is covered in a layer of viscous slime.

The acapella rendition of the Pixies’ “Mr. Grieves” over the credits was magnificent.

This show is all the good.  The goodest, basically.

Odd, that’s been the Cubs’ strategy for most of the past century.

You’ve posted that Pup song before, and I gotta say:  It makes me want to run through a goddamn brick wall, and kicks an inordinate amount of ass.

I was easily one of the worst players on my little league baseball team. To make matters worse, I was randomly placed on this team, most of whom knew eachother and went to private school together. I was the outsider public school Jewish kid from day one.

“eat it, understanding that your role in this horrible chain is to consume and then eventually, to be consumed by the one force larger than yourself, which is death.”

The only Jews that support Trump are the hardliner racists that hate Muslims and blacks more than they care about the fact that Trump and his fans are a-ok with Nazis and evangelical anti-semites who just want to convert us.  It’s a bigger number than it should be, but still only 20ish percent of American Jews.

Hasn’t anyone seen Deadwood???

The distance between the City of Ferguson and the City of St. Louis is also made up of the piecemeal of small municipalities that comprise greater St. Louis. The City of St. Louis itself is tiny -- it’s only about 10% of the population of what people think of as “St. Louis.”  St. Louis is more than downtown - it’s

...and “full frontal nudity.”

The arch grounds are a national park, so that’s not an option.  The stadium will be just west of Union Station and the Enterprise Center.

There is no “distance from St. Louis to Ferguson;” Ferguson is St. Louis.  For reasons both arcane and corrupt, St. Louis is made up of 100 or so smaller municipalities.
