i found out that it is Kristen Sieh

i tried that and could not figure it out

who is the actress that plays the white house tour guide who tom yates interrupts.

That is what it looked like but I wasnt so sure

any figure out who is the person kneeling at the 42 second mark. Is it daenarys or someone else?

Mary banishing james made me so sad but i think the show decided they had to have mary banish james to say that they kept big historical events in the show. In real life james rebelled against mary after marrying darnley and was banished before being unbanished the next year and was "reconciled" with his sister before

This is probably the route the show is taking to have James ultimately betray Mary if they decide to do that by having James feel that Darnley is replacing him and having them be in conflict and Mary choosing Darnley over her brother. Though I am still holding out hope that James will remain loyal

What do you think of mary having to take some of james lands to give to darnley. I think she had to give him land and if she took from anybody else there would be protest and rebellion but james is her brother and so he knows why she is doing it and knows she will make it up to him and wont rebel because he wants his

Where did you see in the episode that James is considering betraying Mary for good. I did not see that. What I saw was somebody who cares for his sister and for scotland and wants Mary to remain ruling scotland and not declare war on elizabeth uness she knows she will win because he want her to rule scotland

I dont think James's loyalty is short term. I think he finally realized that his queen needs him not only as his queen but as his sister and that they are family and family comes first and one can always trust and be loyal to family so I think she bought him for good.

correct. Im pretty sure that I implied that based on what I said. I agree with you about the reason why the Duke of Edinburgh had to kneel to his queen to show that he was legally subservient to her. If that is not what you think I said can you let me know what you think I meant.

he chose to make his family name mountbatten due to anti german sentiments at the time just as the house of saxe-coburg-gotha became the house of windsor. As a former prince of a different country when he gave up his rights he was able to choose his own last name and that became his own last name which he would

I was agreeing with you guys I was just adding more info.

except that the wife of a sovereign never has to kneel before her sovereign because they are in certain ways considered equal, only the husband of a sovereign has to kneel before the sovereign since they are not considered equal.
That is why in real life he was originally upset about the whole last name thing, that is

in the royal cultures of the day queen consorts in certain ways were considered to be equal to their spouse the sovereign, in the order of precedence in how much deference must be shown to them and did not need to swear fealty to the sovereign, unlike prince Phillip who had to kneel and swear fealty to queen Elizabeth

especially since it was made up for the show. In the real history Phillip had no problems with kneeling to his wife and queen. He in reality knew exactly what he was getting into when he married the queen. Part of that was swearing fealty to the monarch at the coronation. If you look up the history of this scene the

completely agree with you. Not sure why many people that I talk too dont find that scene as well as the mother and sister curtsy scene to be powerful scenes. I found them to be two of the most powerful scenes in the episodes I have watched.

I believe that Mary still has James' full loyalty. He realized that what John Knox said was right. If he wants his sisters reign to not crumble she needs to be seen as religiously tolerant and if she did anything to John Knox without proof of a crime the protestants would rebel and her reign would crumble. He is in a
