Seriously, unless I was a huge AC fan or doing AC cosplay, I would not wear that stuff on a regular basis/social outings. But if people are into that stuff, whatever floats your boat I guess.

Although the Witcher is a huge game but its more heavy on the GPU for obvious reasons.. Games like Hitman are not graphical jumps in gaming. Its a great looking game but nothing to “wow” over. It takes more CPU i believe because of how much A.I. is on the screen at once. Any game thats heavy on crowded A.I. will take

Yes that is the case MoBA’s, Starcraft, the Total Wars for example are CPU intensive, some like Starcraft 2 are designed to be usable by a majority of machines, while others like Total War just need a lot of processing power to do their insane physics and damage calculations in real time. RPGs and FPS’ though never

Any game doing real time 3d rendering will need to lean very heavily on the GPU. GPUs are optimized for massively parallel vector and matrix operations, which is how you take the vertices of a 3D model and appropriately transform them and find the 2D projection for your screen (not even getting into all the other

Witcher’s not very CPU heavy at all. Most games that are rough on the CPU tend to have a lot of physics calculations to deal with, or lots of moving objects/characters on screen.

From first hand experience using a GTX 770 and a GTX 980ti with the same processor, I can say that is false. I got about 40fps on high with my 770, 150 fps on max without hairworks on my 980ti, and 60-90fps with hairworks on and max settings with my 980ti. Seeing as the processor has not changed and only the graphics

Mostly games like strategy/war games that need to calculate a lot of units on the field of play and movement of units, etc. Although it’s really up to the developers on how they want to handle it. I’ve played 8-10 year old games on my GTX 970 that ran like crap at high resolution, because almost all of the video

The thing is, that as years have passed cpu requirements don’t scale as fast as gpu requirements.

Is there any truth in some games being more CPU intensive than GPU intensive? Yes (see Dwarf Fortress). Is The Witcher 3 more CPU intensive than GPU intensive? No.

That game is heavy on the GPU end especially if you are running with the hairworks options turned on. Games like Supreme Commander tend to be more CPU heavy once you get a ton of units on the screen.

I know, but I like the defensive bonus if I can get it!

Best of luck. If it doesn’t run well keep in mind it’s an alpha demo and there’s the possibility that the final version will be more optimized.

System Shock is an FPS/RPG hybrid with certain horror influences. That description pretty much applies to BioShock as well. BioShock has more in common with System Shock 2, a game Ken Levine also worked on. That one prominently involves the player interacting with a character who turns out not to be who she says she
