So sorry this video of a man being beaten to death wasn’t enough to satisfy your bloodlust. Maybe the next one will be worse for you? 

This is still about white supremacy violence against Black bodies—the usual policing of Black people! That the slave patrollers in this case are wrapped in Black skin should not surprise anyone. Black self-hatred is a real thing, and once its integrated into the institutions & structures of white supremacy, watch out!

That’s a reach (the capt’s statement I mean). It likely isn’t a convictable hate crime. But that doesn’t mean race doesn’t play a part in it.

I saw Capt. CJ Davis this morning on CNN say that because these officers were black, it removes from the table the fact that issues in policing are about race. I almost fell out of bed.

America is so racist that when WHITE cops kill a black man they get off but when BLACK officers kill a black man they get charged with murder immediately. Are we coming or going this time?

I couldn’t get through it. I have seen a few clips on Twitter, but my kids are walking in and out of the room and I don’t want them to see it and frankly, I don’t want to watch yet another murder by police. We know how this ended. This is systemic brutality and it was deliberate and these police officers enjoyed doing…

Glad to see these cops getting charged, that video was horrible. With that said, it does feel more and more suspicious that WHEN a cop does face consequences for their actions they are usually black LEO’s.

In one of the video he yells for his mom a few times. No one should have to experience that from another human being.

“Disciplinary Action” is code for a paid vacation, until it dies down....

When will people understand that not all depression is situational depression?

With specific regard to the “asking for blankets,” I don’t think the issue the nurses had was with the asking, rather the fact that there’s a call button people are supposed to use, but which people are not using (opting instead to make continual trips to the nurse’s station.)

I suspect that some (misguided) people that feel he deserves more scorn because he was married, while she was already in the process of divorce.

There’s a blues song by the late Denise LaSalle titled “Lady, your husband is Cheating on US”. I read that the current mistress knew about the previous long- term mistress. My vote is the previous sidepiece. Since he seems to go women who are married, he probably felt he was safe from one of them saying anything.
