Agree that there is no way a single move of their wrist is worth $50.

I agree; if the game is too difficult, that’s on you as a player to surmount, and definitely not something that needs to held up as a criticism against the designer. But, at the same time: when there’s a demand for something like this, you can bet there will always be a fan response—whether it be think pieces about…
Eh, it’s largely assumed that if you go about installing mods, there’s a good chance they can completely unbalance the game. People who use them usually know they do so at the risk of spoiling the game.
On the other hand, completly antithetical to the design of the game. It would be shameful if anyone actually used this before finishing the game legitimately.
To be fair, and I’ll say it again: if you’re not playing the game on NG/NG+ with the items that increase the overall base difficulty of the game, then you’re essentially playing Sekiro on the lowest difficulty the designers intended the game to already be played on.
More like it’s not what the game makers wanted, so they themselves don’t have to change the game since they obviously don’t want to. Mods to anyone’s personal copy are fair game.
Getting stuck is going to happen on any non-trivially complex geometry that, by game design, you’re not allowed to land on. This is usually accomplished by setting the friction coeff of the surface to 0 so that entities that land on that surface will slide off on any collision poly that isn’t perfectly horizontal (eg,…
Jason, I know it’s your “job” or whatever, but thanks for putting some light on this game. I think it's incredible and between the epic games "scandal" and gamers being gamers, I'm glad it's getting some recognition.
Where the fuck did that come from?
‘A lot’ meaning it requires some logic to put two and two together to unravel the story and next point of interest. YMMV on how good you are at doing this. I’ve felt at times a genius as much as a complete dolt playing this game. Luckily I only had to look up one thing online, and it’s apparently the one thing…
There is 100% a definite ending to it (but if you’re worried, you can load your last save if you want to keep filling out your ship log).
I got into it watching a youtuber play it, and starting his video by saying
“Guys, honestly this is kinda shooting myself in the foot, but I entirely advise you to turn off this playthrough and go play the game yourself because it is amazing.”
That felt like a solid endorsment of this game ^^
SHould also be noted there is a lot of actual science in it, and it’s dumbed down enough to be engaging for everyone, kids included.
It’s great, rare, and deserves praise.
I’ve appreciated your opinions here for some time, and this genuine praise carries so much weight for me.
Technically they could still “Renew” it, it’s just that none of the creators involved really want to continue the story without Pratchett.
I’m so sick of hearing about “freedom of speech” and “the First Amendment” as it pertains to platforms owned by private companies. BECAUSE IT DOESN’T.
Anybody else think the crank was used to power the device at first?
Count me. That’s just a bit more than a Call of Duty with all the extras, and it’s super cute and it’s got the creators.
And I hope to do it again some day good sir.
