Never heard of him.  Maybe they’re trying to get people talking about the show by picking relative unknowns to host.

I like Tom Hanks & Billy Crystal, but neither were ever anywhere in the vicinity of hot. John Corbett and Mark Ruffalo count as hot. John Cusack was at least cute.

I think “Genius of Love” is just in commercials for one store, but those commercials are in very heavy rotation.

Even just the nickname Paulie Walnuts is funny.

Maybe it’s because they’re overcooked. I like fried eggs over easy, and even when I’ve accidentally let them go long enough for the yolk to be hard, they’re not rubbery like McDonald’s. This says they’re on the grill for 2 minutes and stay in a warming bin. Being gathered into a round shape also probably makes them

I presume John Oliver has a contract with HBO that prevents him from doing similar shows elsewhere.

Not sure if you meant “no one”, but I watched one of the movies he directed and I am literally someone.  It wasn’t the best thing ever, but I’ve seen worse.

Yeah, I’m a Gen X-er, and I love the Beatles, classic rock, Motown, Aretha, etc. I don’t think I’m a huge outlier in my generation with any of that. There was certainly some cheesy stuff in the 60's and 70's, but it’s easier not to be annoyed by it if it’s not all you’re hearing.

I wrote an essay about “Vienna” in college, so I guess I’ll pick that.

I always get sucked into watching Fiddler on the Roof when it shows up on TCM.  Love it.

Unless you’ve been to a bar with a coal-fired oven, it’s not like bar pizza.

New Haven pizza was famous before the internet existed, let alone one guy reviewing things on the internet.

I hate the round egg at McDonald’s.  It’s like eating rubber.  At least the other kind remotely approximates the texture of actual eggs.

I really would have liked to hear what Carlin had to say about the 45th President.  I don’t know that AI could come close to what he could have done, but maybe the technology will improve some day and partially make my dream come true.

I’m not sure that a wide swath of the readers of this site are Christians who are significantly bothered by a casual use of Jesus Christ. Not all Christians feel exactly the same way about language as you. You guys sure like to play the oppressed minority victim when it suits you and still claim that you’re the Moral

I can’t imagine wanting to dip mozzarella sticks in room temperature marinara, even if the marinara was good.

Elton John is great, but he isn’t late.  Bohemian Rhapsody seems like a better example of a biopic of a late, great artist.

I’m not a dumb person, but I had no idea what happened in the end and thought I missed something. It very much seemed like a non-ending ending to me.

I think I would have preferred this list 15+ years ago, when I could still remember all the episodes. I do remember that College would be my #1, and Pine Barrens was great.

I thought the same thing.  It looked particularly dangerous when they showed her sitting down and starting to stand up.
