I want to know how much money Kim asked for to appear ever so briefly.

I start tearing up during “Father and Son”, so that hit the spot for me. Great song, and it worked.

I was a bit surprised that they didn’t make Richmond the league winners.  I think I went in expecting total victory, but good that this didn’t happen.

The Harder They Come is pretty close to perfect.

Whether Nate quit or got fired was unclear.  It wouldn’t have taken up much time to make it clear.

Singles is there. I like the Paul Westerberg songs the best, unlike the reviewer.

No Grosse Pointe Blank, Dazed and Confused, or Valley Girl?

My one complaint is that I forgot who Darlene was when I saw the text. I realized it probably was the music teacher before Sam played the cassette.

None of the places you listed are a restaurant, unless you count the mall food court and I don’t think they’re serving steak at most of those.

I don’t think I’ve ever been an indoor restaurant where people brought a dog.  Where are you encountering this enough to complain about it?

You don’t have to be that young to have a child or children who need babysitters. I was around 50 when I could leave my youngest home alone.

You seem to be discussing an entirely different issue than is addressed by this article.

If you can’t understand an obvious joke when you see one, your sense of humor may have failed.

Cruel Summer was 1983 & Venus was 1986.

That’s What Friends Are For raised money for AIDS research, and Stevie Wonder had already put out the rather cheesy I Just Called to Say I Love You by that point, so I would hope you could forgive.

I thought the early part with Hawkeye in the hospital and recounting what he saw was devastating.  I recently read that story of the “chicken” was based on a real life soldier’s experience.

David Chase said Tony died and that it wasn’t uncertain, because of a previous line where a character said everything just goes to black when they whack you. Personally, I found it quite vague at the time.

I always see people saying the characters were awful people, and it baffles me. (Maybe because I live in the NY area?) OK, George was marginally awful sometimes, but I’d say most of the stuff the characters did were things were things that perfectly normal would at least think about doing.

I think I had stopped watching St. Elsewhere by then, but at least it sounds like it was a creative ending, especially for its time.

We’re supposed to assume every Russian is drunk 24/7? If that was the intent of the writers, that’s pretty stupid.
