If we haven't yet we probably will soon once your baby is here if you go to any kid spaces or groups at the science center, bloom, Jillian's, etc ;)

Definitely portlandia!
I live in Ithaca NY (Portland 2.0) and while I love a lot of our organic local hippie shit, my daughter has to take fluoride drops because our city's water isn't fluoridated either. Arg
Thank you for your contribution! I'm not originally from here, but my husband and his family are. My MIL is an anti vaxxer and anti fluoride person. They don't fluoridate the water here! We have to give her a supplement every day. I live this liberal town but ugh it's over the top hippie sometimes.
Ithaca? That's where I am. Sounds familiar. My daughter is 15 mos old.
All I need is peppermint schnapps on ice. Maybe some pinnacle whipped cream vodka
yes, compliment all the way :)
aw, my friend runs that B&B. The Ginger Cat. she is a wonderful host and exquisite cook! She also used to work for FS and still has a close relationship there. great recommendation! <3
You are usually very funny and I think from anyone else I might find this rant obnoxious, but having read so many of your posts... omg DYING. a+. possibly quoting some of this.
I was in that camp, even after I had a daughter that was conceived while one was still implanted in my uterus. I got another one put in 3 months after her birth, and when I went for my check up a few weeks later they were like LOL THIS HAS TO COME OUT BECAUSE IT IS SIDEWAYS AND ABOUT TO PERFORATE YOUR UTERUS.
not to mention who in the everloving fuck likes to FOLD THE FITTED SHEET FOR THE BED?
and who never ever gets into anything they shouldn't. or never has a temper tantrum. or needs to be fed. or go to other activities. or gets sick. LOL yes I suppose that would be dreamy. in a very far far away dreamland somewhere.
yeah, my reaction to this was basically "so a SAHM except without the mom part?" I mean I could feasibly see accomplishing things like this when your kids are older and in school most of the day. but SAHM in the traditional sense- esp more than one little kid under 4- where would you find the uninterrupted time?!
wait, what? link? that's hilarious
point 1 ALL DAY LONG.
