I scroll until I see something I’ve already seen and know I’m done.
Can to stop with the videos that pop-in and stick to the top of an article as you scroll, covering half the article, and have nothing to do with the article itself? One of the most annoying features this site has implemented in years and is just a baffling UX decision.
Last time I tried reading the front page without /latest the same article was pushed on me no less than five times.
It’s more that it’s just a mess with stuff everywhere. A simple scrolling list is so much more pleasant for me. I scroll until I see something I’ve already seen and know I’m done.

But are there still slideshows?
We are all stars in our own minds.
if this means finally getting rid of slide show content, fantastic.
Scary how long I have been reading this site. In internet years (like dog years but with more snark), its been a lifetime.
“Newsletters are cool!” No, no they’re not and I’m sick of telling these sites I don’t want them. Neither are constant slideshows for that matter.
Yup, what a shame.
I don’t like that G/O fired Matt Novak
