Meowton, we got a problem...

<Neigh>!

Over the years I made peace with cauliflower - after eating a phenomenal cauliflower soup in an airplane, of all places - and a grudging peace with broccoli and brussels sprout, but beets continue to be my vegetable enemy no. 1.

I have a King bed and so far is a pain in that place. Hard to find sheets, hard to tuck the sheets in, and absolutely impossible to rotate the mattress alone. The one good thing is, I sleep alone in that vastness, so if one side gets too hot I just roll over to the other side. ;)

“The Earl of Oxford had an audience with Queen Elizabeth I and he accidentally let out a fart. He was so embarrassed that he traveled the world for seven years.”

Everything in Japan costs a lot of money, so maybe she is not feeling the sticker shock. Not like we do, I guess.

Thank you for your article.

Some people are so afraid of looking at their own problems and feel so small that they have to beat everyone else with their “I’m holier than thou” attitude. It’s quite sad, actually, and also disturbing.

I have a friend that spent a ridiculous low amount of money in an intercontinental flight, and a even more ridiculous amount of time in the many airports she stayed, approximately 30 hours. She says never again.

Oh, nope! I’d be: me or THE DOLL HAS TO GO!

I had a friend that, I swear, used to sleep with a doll looking like that even when she was in High School. She had the doll since birth, it didn’t have any arms or legs anymore, just a greyish face and trunk, it was never washed, and she’d put THE THING righ beside her shoulder under the blankets.

Will try, thanks!

As soon as it was out I played Oregon Trail, because I’ve heard so much about the game. Come on, how hard it could be?!?

It seems to be, and from Interplay too. Star Trek 25th anniversary game was my first computer game ever. Good times!  ; )

I’m also a Kerrygold fan, but has anyone ever tried Ploughgate Butter? H

True that.

I like the airport, but have you ever tried to run from a terminal on one end to another terminal at the other end of the airport in order to get a connecting flight in 25 minutes? You gotta be an athlete!

There was this restaurant in São Paulo called Almanara (still open) that my Dad used to take us. It was grilled lamb, raw kibbeh, sour cream, stuffed grape leaves and the best Ataif ever! I’m still crazy about these dishes. It has been a long time ago, but how can we forget what tastes like childhood...

Schwarzenegger. Can’t ever...

If you’re eating a cake that lasts three days YOU AIN’T HAVING GOOD CAKE!

My suggestion is “Middlemarch” by George Eliot. Not an easy reading, but you’ll be rewarded with keen observations abouth human nature and brilliant phrases, one example below:
