Me thinks the lady (Stamos) doth protest too much. Sounded like one of those made stories flagged by some unnecessary details.

None of that makes it safer fir a women to take Lyft. It’s no consolation to me that Lyft will allow me to sue them in civil court after I have been molested, raped, abducted or murdered.

But a woman has the same chance of being violated by a driver in some way or overcharged .... and I don’t see that as friendly to women.  Women are no safer with Lyft.

Or, statistically they have the same level of issues, but you don’t notice because they don’t get the same media coverage as uber (for various reasons).

Uber makes money off of him...Uber’s only cost is the app and their “marketing team”. This guy brings in profit, and Uber doesn’t have any reasons to be concerned beyond that. They don’t have drivers as employees for more reasons than employment tax and benefits cost evasion.

Because Uber doesn't care.
